In the spring of this year, I wanted to do something decent — and work my way toward the 50-miler club — so I volunteered for the Cumberland Trail Conference hoping to pick up trash or something, but nope, it was to help build the trail. What a huge pain in the ass.
The organizer asked me what I thought and I told her, this is f–ked up or something along those lines. But, it was really fun and a great workout. It’s also nice to know that future generations will traverse a trail that I helped create. You’re welcome.
